Global Computer Service has been providing quality service in Southern Nevada since 1992. Originally, the company was primarily contracted by large financial institutions to sell, install, design and service Merchant Acquisition Systems. The mission critical nature of the financial industry gave us an early opportunity to understand high quality service, system availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery.

Michael Giordano, President, began his career in the computer industry in 1985 as a field technician in New York City. Within two years he was a manger for Selecterm Inc. His responsibilities include building systems to maintain uptime for Fortune 500 corporations as TWA, Hilton, Citibank, Chemical Bank, Solomon Brothers, Morgan Stanley, and Goldman Sachs. Michael returned to his hometown of Las Vegas in 1988, his experience locally included two years as service manager for Connecting Point Computers. At connecting Point, his responsibility included building and managing a department of 15 technicians for 24-hour, 7-day, 2-hour response time service contracts.

Rick McCoy, Vice President of Operations, began his career in 1997 as a LAN administrator for Wells Fargo Bank. Mpower Communications then hired him where he became a Network Technician. He quickly began studying Cisco network infrastructure and attended many Cisco training courses across the country. After becoming a Cisco Certified Network Associate, CCNA, Rick was promoted to Senior Network Engineer and became responsible for the design and rollout of an aggressive build out plan taking Mpower from two to fifty locations in two years. Rick left Mpower in the Spring of 2002 and went to work at Global Computer Service as a field engineer. He worked for Global Computer Service for a year, before taking the position as Director of Information Technology for Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts. Rick returned to Global Computer Service in Spring of 2004 and is eager to grow the operation.

Global Computer Service is authorized to sell IBM, Compaq, HP, Novell, Microsoft, Cisco, and many others. We are also the HP Global Service Partner for the Las Vegas valley, providing HP service on Proliant servers and business class workstations.
